Maternity Benefits are Available! Assurant Health offers 100% coverage of normal maternity benefits up to your policy’s maximum, after a $5000 maternity-only deductible.

United Health One has a more limited benefit, that pays a maximum of $2000 during the first 2 benefit years.

The maternity benefit rider must be included in your policy to have this coverage effective.

There are Maternity Choices in Texas! Assurant Health offers Maternity benefits which may be added to the MaxPlan policy for $66-68 extra a month for most.

This benefit pays 100% of covered routine maternity services after you meet your selected maternity deductible ($5,000 or $10,000) for any pregnancy that begins after the 30-day benefit waiting period. You will also benefit from the lowered costs due to significant network discounts Assurant Health has contracted with doctors and providers in their network.

Covered complications of pregnancy remain subject to your medical plan deductible and coinsurance, if any.

You may choose a Lifetime Benefit Maximum of either $3 million or $15 million.
