Finally…. A plan with decent maternity for us. Texas has not had anything worth talking about for a long time. Now Humana is offering maternity to individuals with just a 30 day wait before you can get pregnant. That may seem like a bit of a wait, but in the past, a one year wait was as good as we could get.
Here’s how it works. There is a $1000 maternity deductible and then the plan pays 60%. You go to PPO providers (most doctors like to work with PPO’s). Let us know who your doctor is and we can be sure it’s a match.
This is an optional benefit so the easiest way to do this is for you to fill out the little form with your age and zip code and I will email you all the rates. You are getting a full health insurance plan as well so you will be able to pick your price by the deductible. If all you are interested is in maternity then you can get the highest deductible plan with the optional maternity. You still have just a $1000 deductible for maternity even with the cheapest regular plan.
